Corporate Giving

Baby being checked over by a doctor

CHRISTUS Health is very proud of our many corporate partners. We would not be the strong organization we are today if we had not chosen carefully when making important partnering decisions. Corporations and business partners are encouraged to make cash contributions and grants that are consistent with the funding priorities and special gift initiatives of the Foundation. Indeed, our future success will be maximized by those generous enough to support our Mission.

The CHRISTUS Health Foundation is a non-profit corporation that strictly adheres to its Code of Ethics as well as its policies regarding Conflict of Interest, Corporate Integrity Program, and Gifts and Gratuities. In addition, the CHRISTUS Health Foundation abides by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (“AFP”) Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice (the “Guidelines”). This Policy has been developed in accordance with the Guidelines as they pertain to Professional Obligations, Solicitation and Use of Philanthropic Funds, Presentation of Information and Compensation.

Guiding Principles

The following are guiding principles on corporate and business partners philanthropy:
  • Philanthropic contributions do not influence purchasing decisions.
  • Corporations and business partners may be invited to give philanthropically but are not required to do so.
  • A philanthropic gift does not ensure the continuation of a business relationship with CHRISTUS Health for any specified period of time, and does not guarantee new business.
  • Should a corporation or business partner choose not to give philanthropically, its future business relationship will not be affected based on this fact.
